This page explains how to delete your account in KOVA, the app developed by Kova Group, Inc., and what happens to your data when you do.
How to delete your account
In the app
- Open the Profile tab.
- Tap the gear icon.
- Tap Delete Account, then Continue.
- Tap Delete.If you signed up with an email and password, enter your password to confirm.
If the app asks you to sign in again, sign in and try again, or email us instead.
Without the app, by email
Email help@ridekova.com from the email address on your KOVA account and ask us to delete your account.
We'll confirm by email and delete it within 30 days.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
What we delete
When you delete your account, we permanently delete your personal information, including:
- Your account and sign-in
- Your profile and public profile: name, phone number, date of birth, bio, friends, vehicle and emergency contact
- Your profile photo, and your driver verification photos and answers
- The links we use to send notifications to your device
Your profile is removed right away. Deleted files are permanently erased from our storage within 7 days, and server logs are erased after 30 days.
What stays
Messages you sent to other users, and records of rides you shared with them, stay in their history. We may keep some information longer when the law requires it.
